Raven House Farm

Raven House Farm dates to the 17th century. It is spacious and full of character.  This is truly a house that has  grown through time. The original two up two down stone house has been dated back through church records to the 12th Century, though there is evidence of an original dwelling.

The house was truly modernised about 1600 when it was extended. As the farm grew wealthy it was again extended sideways and many Georgian features are still evident along many older ones. We recently discovered the original 800 year old stone floors and steps and are in the process of uncovering them for all to see and appreciate.
